Tonight, at Aikido class, Sugerman-sensei had some wonderful words of wisdom, which are paraphrased below:

If you trust people, and expect them to be honest, and treat them with respect, it is likely that they will be honest and treat you the same way.

Now I know that it doesn’t seem like much, but with the way the world is going, I think it’s important to remember. For example, to be excused from anything at school, you need to prove that you were practically dying. It’s basically like being guilty until proven innocent. WHICH SUCKS. There are 1000 more examples I could make, but they’re all the same.
