Well, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted here. I’ve mostly been busy with school, so I’m going to use that as my excuse.<\/p>\n
I’ve also been writing a program called rarslave in my free time. Actually, I’ve already written 2 programs named rarslave, that had the same purpose. This is the third implementation of my idea, and this time it is in python<\/a>, which is my new favorite language. Here is a link<\/a> to the rarslave program I’m talking about.<\/p>\n I’ve already had one person email me and tell me that he really liked it. That makes me feel great.<\/p>\n Today I added a config file system to rarslave, which was definitely a learning experience, but a good one. I’m happy that I took the opportunity.<\/p>\n Other than writing my own code, school has been very busy, but I’m keeping up with it much better than in years past. One of the main things that has helped me so far is the book “Getting Things Done,” (commonly known as GTD) by David Allen. It really does help you keep things organized better.<\/p>\n Oh yeah, also, I’ve been working at breaking out of my shell. You know, so I can actually talk to people that I don’t know yet. (Which, believe me, is a HUGE<\/em> step for me.) Mostly I’ve been doing it so I can talk to a girl at school, and maybe get a date before I graduate. (That would be really nice)<\/p>\n Oh well, I’ve got to get back to studying now, since I already had one midterm this week (I got 72\/75! Yay! :)) and I’ll have more next week.
