I&#8217;ve been learning the <a href=\"http:\/\/asterisk.org\/\">Asterisk Open-Source PBX<\/a>! I&#8217;ve had quite a bit of fun doing it, too.<\/p>\n<p>So now I can make calls from my computer via VoIP (both SIP and IAX) as well as to the regular PSTN via a VoIP termination service. Which basically means I can call you, but you can&#8217;t call me back (over VoIP). You can call my regular house number or my cell phone, of course, but then you won&#8217;t get into my Asterisk system at all.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to talk to me over <a href=\"http:\/\/fwdnet.net\/\">Free World Dialup<\/a>, you can surely do so. Just call 822618, once you&#8217;re on FWD. You&#8217;ll get my voice prompts, but you can dial 100 for me, 101 for my dad (who&#8217;s never on, ever) or echo for the echo tester.<\/p>\n<p>If I&#8217;m around, I&#8217;ll definitely answer. Heck, if you want me to call you over VoIP just to see how it sounds, I&#8217;ll be happy to do so also.<\/p>\n<p>And if anyone wants to pay me to implement a very kick-ass phone system (Individual extensions, music on hold, voicemail, call transfer, conference calls, and much MUCH more) then I&#8217;d be happy to do it.
